Thanks for the tutorial, I'll definitely give it a try. I like how you work from the top down; It's a good approach for sure. I currently use a book written from the director of Warner Bros. animation "Animating the Looney Tunes Way" (c) 2000; he suggests starting the head with the head shape, then the nose / cheeks. Everything is built off of the nose (if the character's build calls for it). It helps me anchor parts in proper perspective.
I'm glad to share my experience! Yweah it took me FOREVER to figure it out too xD try refrencing the 101 dalmatians; if you get a picture of that movie there's bound to be like 12 puppies with different angles and positions to study c:
Coolio lolz I should go look up stuff and learn to draw quad/feral or whatever you wanna call it xD I drew my friend as an anthro hedgehog the other day xD but it looks more like a cat...should I post it? I just realized he hasn't seen it yet but it's funny lolz
I just ordered all my stuff...and I supose I'll post it but I did somethin to my ankle and (I'm terrfied of going to get it checked out XP) I don't want to go find a camera and such...so i'll prolly post it tommarow....possibly tonight...perhaps I can post it and give him(the dude I drew) a link on facebook xD haven't been on face book for months....i'ma go check it out! ADD!!!
